Symons Ambulance works with electronic music promoters to improve safety
The Event Safety Division of Symons Ambulance has been contracted by several large electronic music festival promoters to provide state-of-the-art medical care at their concerts. Significant media exposure to several recent incidents have highlighted the need for additonal medical resources at these events as they continue to increase in popularity. In order to prevent unnecessary transport of patients to hospitals and to minimize the impact on the local EMS system, Symons is staffing many of these events with emergency medicine nurses and emergency physicians in addition to the usual EMT's, paramedics, and first aid stations.
Symons looks forward to continuing to provide excellent patient care and customer service at electronic music festivals in the future as they become increasingly more and more mainstream.
