Symons Ambulance Acquires Lexxiom Medical Services 

Symons Emergency Specialties, Inc. and Lexxiom Medical Services, Inc. are pleased to announce that they have entered into a merger agreement for the combination of the two companies.  The combined companies will continue to operate in Inyo, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego Counties under the Symons Ambulance name.
 Symons has been serving Southern California with one-stop, hassle-free emergency medical services for more than 20 years. Started in Bishop, California in the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountains as a 9-1-1 provider, Symons has grown to include the following divisions: 9-1-1, Interfacility/Critical Care Transport, Event and Air Ambulance.  Symons currently provides ambulance services from the extremely urban environment of Los Angeles to the rural High Sierras in Bishop to the remote wilderness areas of the Baja, Mexico peninsula during the Baja 1000.

As the only ambulance company in the region that is both owned and operated by local EMTs, paramedics, nurses and physicians, Symons Ambulance has become known as the company that is "for healthcare providers, by healthcare providers" rather than "for wall street, by wall street".
