About Us

Our Mission

To continue as the leading provider of custom prehospital solutions for our clients while providing superior service, professionalism, and state-of-the-art medical care.

Our History

Symons Ambulance has been serving southern California with one-stop, hassle-free emergency medical services for more than 20 years. Started in Bishop, California in the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountains as a 9-1-1 provider, Symons Ambulance has grown to include the following divisions: 9-1-1, Interfacility/Critical Care Transport, Event and Air Ambulance.

Symons is different from many other ambulance companies because everyone involved in the ownership of the company is either an EMT, paramedic, nurse or physician that actively provides patient care in the field. Symons Ambulance believes that staying grounded in the field allows the company to provide better "whole person" care rather than focusing primarily on the "bottom line" like some publicly traded companies. Symons Ambulance is also unique due to the diversity of its management team and the geographic locations served. For instance, Symons currently provides ambulance services for the extremely urban environment of Los Angeles to the rural High Sierras in Bishop to the remote wilderness areas of the Baja, Mexico peninsula during the Baja 1000.

Regardless of whether you need ambulance services for your hospital, nursing home, medical group, film shoot, or off-road race, Symons would like the opportunity to earn your business by providing a custom solution for you!
